Laguiole knives with corkscrew are authentic. It’s an everyday accessory known for both its quality and its aesthetic appeal.
It was designed for wine enthusiasts following the French cutlery tradition dating back to the late 19th century.
Laguiole en Aubrac knives with corkscrews are made with two bolsters providing protection to the handle ends against minor impacts. The knife’s finish can be in brass or stainless steel and matt or shiny depending on the choice of handle material.
Each knife is hand-engraved along the spring to the corkscrew. This floral or geometric decoration is the cutler’s signature. The handcarving work lends elegance to the knife and makes it unique.
